WHAT IS MyKAD?
MyKAD is known to Malaysia as Malaysian smart identification card. In lamer term, it is our iD. It stores information about the card holder identification such as name, ic no, address, gender, religion and many more.
At SR2, our IT department focuses on developing on-shelve and customized software for the use of MyKAD. Our software development covers from the basic technique of capturing visitor information to enter your premises (SR2MyGuard™) to a complex and sophisticated software that suites your business needs.
Currently, we have successfully developed three types of software that uses MyKAD as a part of its key processes. They are SR2MyGuard™, SR2MyCustomer™, and SR2MyTIMEkeeper™. On top of these, there are other types of software that we are currently developing on. Some are made for our specific customers and buyers and others are made for our on-shelve products.
Our SDK (the engine that reads MyKAD demographic data) is designed to run smoothly with OMNIKEY® Smart Card reader (has the capability to read and write data to smart card). It has been tested from slowest PC to the most advance and sophisticated up-to-date PC technology in the market we have now. It made specially for Windows Based Program.

WHAT IS MyKID?
The name speaks for itself. It is another Malaysia identification card made specifically for the young ones covering from newly born to age 12. The demographic information contained inside MyKID is different than MyKAD. MyKID holds information of both parents basic demographic information on top of the kid's basic demographic information such as name, ic number, etc. Nevertheless, MyKID does not contain picture either imprint or embedded inside the card.
